Eunice Park
Eunice Park is a Spiritual Care Counselor dedicated to supporting people through compassionate, trauma-informed, and inclusive care. With a decade of experience providing spiritual care in healthcare settings, she specializes in helping individuals and work groups cultivate resilience and well-being. Her work is rooted in evidence-based practices and a deep commitment to respectful, patient- and family-centered care. Eunice holds a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Advertising and Business Marketing from the University of Tennessee. Since 2022, she has serves as a Spiritual Care Counselor with Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Northeast Georgia Medical Center's Hospice and In-home Palliative Care team. Outside of her professional work, Eunice enjoys family life with her husband and their three young children.
Kelly Bulk
Kelly Bulk is a mother of two boys and a devoted educator focused on integrating mindful awareness, movement, and social-emotional learning into educational settings. She holds an advanced degree in School Building Leadership and a dual Master of Science in Elementary and Special Education. She also holds a Director of Special Education endorsement in the state of Vermont and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Her work spans higher education, K–12 schools, and nonprofit organizations, where she supports the integration of these practices into teaching and learning. Kelly is a contributing author to Emory University’s SEE Learning curriculum and Mission Be’s mindfulness curriculum. She was selected as a panelist for the “SEE Learning: Worldwide Initiative for Educating the Heart and Mind,” hosted by the Dalai Lama Trust and Emory University in Dharamshala, India. She is committed to empowering students to understand themselves and recognize their ability to influence their inner experience.
Penny Clements
Penny Clements is a CBCT® (Cognitively Based Compassion Training) Senior Teacher and a Facilitator for the CBCT Teacher Certification Program at Emory University. Since 2016, Penny has taught CBCT to a variety of audiences, including public and private school teachers and administrators, healthcare professionals, college students, cancer survivors, and others. Prior to her work in the field of compassion, she had a 15-year career in marketing and development for public television and radio stations at local, state, and national levels. Penny enjoys sharing CBCT as a means to promote living with less stress and more joy.

Build a strong foundation and strengthen motivation. In Module 1, we connect to nurturing moments to elicit feelings of safety and deepen our appreciation for compassion. This module is considered foundational to CBCT, as it supports both the resilience and the motivation to train compassion.

Learn practices to improve focus and resilience. In Module 2, we learn to hold our attention where we choose. We train the emotion regulation strategy of attention deployment, as we strengthen the ability to notice when attention is pulled, to redirect it, and to keep it where we want it to be.

Develop the skill of non-judgmental awareness. In Module 3, we learn to refrain from projecting, cultivate greater insight into our mental and emotional habits and gain greater flexibility in how we respond to them. This emotion regulation strategy is sometimes called self-distancing.
